Payment Policy
Nimbus: Journal of Academic Research (NJOAR) is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and ethical publishing practices. The following payment policy governs the payment of Article Processing Charges (APCs) and other publication-related fees.
1. Article Processing Charge (APC)
The journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of:

For international authors, the APC may be notified separately at the time of acceptance.
The APC covers:
- Editorial processing
- Double-blind peer review management
- Copyediting and proofreading
- DOI assignment (if applicable)
- Typesetting and formatting
- Online publication
- Website hosting and maintenance
- Long-term digital archiving
2. No Submission Fee
Authors are not required to pay any fee at the time of manuscript submission.
Submission of manuscripts is completely free.
3. Payment After Acceptance Only
Authors are requested not to make any payment before receiving the official acceptance letter.
Payment instructions will be sent only after:
- Successful completion of the peer-review process.
- Editorial approval.
- Formal acceptance of the manuscript.
4. Mode of Payment
Payment may be made through any of the following methods:
- UPI
- Bank Transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS)
- Online Payment (details will be shared upon acceptance)
The journal will provide complete payment instructions along with the acceptance letter.
5. Proof of Payment
After making the payment, authors should send:
- Transaction ID / UTR Number
- Screenshot or payment receipt
- Manuscript ID

6. Refund Policy
The Article Processing Charge is non-refundable under the following circumstances:
- Withdrawal of the manuscript after acceptance.
- Withdrawal after the editorial or production process has begun.
- Publication has already been completed.
- Rejection due to plagiarism, duplicate submission, or ethical misconduct discovered after payment.
Refunds may only be considered in exceptional circumstances, solely at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief.
7. Waiver Policy
The journal may consider a partial or full waiver of the APC in exceptional cases, including:
- Students with financial constraints.
- Researchers from economically disadvantaged regions.
- Invited papers.
- Special issues approved by the Editorial Board.
Waiver requests must be submitted before acceptance and are subject to editorial approval.
8. Publication Ethics
Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance or publication of a manuscript.
Acceptance is based solely on:
- Originality
- Quality of research
- Peer-review recommendations
- Editorial decision
- Compliance with the journal's publication ethics and submission guidelines
9. Taxes
Any applicable taxes, bank charges, or transaction fees shall be borne by the author unless otherwise specified by the journal.
10. Invoice and Receipt
Upon request, the journal will issue:
- Official Payment Receipt
- APC Invoice
- Publication Certificate (after publication)
11. Changes in APC
The Editorial Board reserves the right to revise the Article Processing Charge. Any changes will apply only to new submissions and will be announced on the journal website.
