Geography

Geography is the systematic study of the Earth’s physical features, human societies, places, environments, and the relationships between people and their surroundings. This category welcomes original research that examines spatial patterns, geographical processes, environmental changes, natural resources, population dynamics, urban and rural development, regional planning, and human–environment interactions. Contributions may include physical geography, human geography, economic geography, environmental geography, urban and regional geography, political geography, GIS and remote sensing, climatology, geomorphology, hydrology, population geography, and sustainable development. The category encourages interdisciplinary research addressing contemporary geographical challenges at local, regional, national, and global levels.
