Identity of the Data Controller
The National Journal of Original and Applied Research (NJOAR) is published by Dharma Publication, a non-profit academic publishing house dedicated to the dissemination of scholarly journals and books. The publisher operates with a primary focus on academic quality, ethical publishing, and knowledge dissemination, rather than commercial objectives.
Dharma Publication acts as the Data Controller for all personal data processed through the journal’s website and manuscript management system.

Reader
Data is used solely for identification and, where consent is provided, for notifications regarding new issues or journal announcements.
Author
In addition to identification and communication, author data is used for manuscript handling and editorial processing. Upon acceptance and publication, the author’s name, affiliation, ORCID (if provided), and biographical information will appear in the published article and be indexed in the journal’s databases, in accordance with the signed publication agreement.
Reviewer
In line with the double-blind peer review process, reviewers do not have access to authors’ personal data. Reviewer data is accessible only to editors for reviewer selection, communication, and review management.
Editor
Editors’ professional details (name, affiliation, and country) are displayed on the journal’s Editorial Team page for transparency and identification.
Administrator
The administrator role, held by the technical support team, is responsible for system maintenance and platform management. Administrators may access data solely for technical and operational purposes and do not participate in editorial decision-making.
Retention of Personal Data
Personal data will be retained in the journal’s database for as long as the user maintains an active role or registered account, unless a formal request for deletion is submitted. Requests will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and journal policies.
