Important Notice to Authors

Mandatory Compliance with Journal Guidelines

The National Journal of Original and Applied Research (NJOAR) is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and scholarly excellence. To ensure consistency and quality across all publications, authors are required to strictly adhere to the journal’s editorial and submission guidelines.

Manuscript Revision and Change Tracking

National Journal of Original and Applied Research (NJOAR) employ advanced manuscript management and change-tracking systems to carefully monitor all revisions submitted by authors. This process enables the Editorial Team to verify whether reviewers’ and editors’ recommendations have been fully and appropriately addressed. However, repeated issues have been observed during revision stages, including:

  • Revisions limited only to the abstract, while substantive comments on methodology, results, discussion, or conclusions remain unaddressed.
  • Selective modification of citations—often restricted to self-citations—without ensuring consistency across the entire manuscript.
  • Incorrect use of “Bibliography” instead of “References.” Authors must note that, as per APA 7th Edition, NJOAR mandates a properly formatted References section only.

Incomplete or superficial revisions may result in resubmission requests or rejection.

Strict Adherence to APA 7th Edition

All manuscripts submitted to NJOAR must strictly follow APA 7th Edition guidelines, including but not limited to:

  • In-text citations and reference formatting
  • Headings and sub-headings
  • Academic writing style and tone
  • Tables, figures, and appendices

Submissions that fail to comply with APA standards will be returned for correction or declined at the editorial screening stage.
